My 82-year-old mother is in Fiji with her 83-year-old sister Joy, a holiday that had been delayed for two years due to poor health. I’ve been trying to get hold of her for days but was making the mistake of calling the hotel in the morning (in Fiji). I just spoke to her. Of course, she wasn’t in her room in the morning. She and Joy have been going to the dining room first thing to make short work of the buffet. It’s the Connell Way.
