When you buy a twin packet of cream lamingtons and realise at first bite that they don’t live up to expectations — that they are sticky, doughy and tasteless, that the only real flavour is sugar which isn’t even a flavour — but you plough ahead anyway because you’re not a quitter. You finish what you start.
