Hard Boiled

I was just speaking to my 82-year-old mother in New Zealand. We’d been chatting for about half an hour when Mum went back into her kitchen. ‘Why have all my windows steamed up?’ she asked. I heard ratting and then she discovered the eggs she’d put on to boil before I called. She likes her eggs soft-boiled.
