My mother, sister and I are heading south on a road trip. We are taking the west coast road.

My sister and I were disappointed at not seeing Mt Taranaki yesterday or today. Mist and cloud kept the beautiful volcanic cone hidden.

My mother, ever on the hunt for a silver lining, pointed to some hills in the near distance. ‘Look at those interesting mountains,’ she said. ‘They look like two bare women’s breasts.’
