My 82-year-old mother is thinking about getting alpacas. The neighbour has four of them and she has alpaca envy. She has allowed the neighbour to graze his herd in the paddock next to her house and is thoroughly enjoying them. When I call her, she often interrupts our conversations to tell me what the alpacas are doing. I’m encouraging her. Team Alpaca!
